Version 9.8 :

• Defend against physical Attacks = Might Check. Dodge = 0 DMG or Block = -1 DMG. 
• Shield or 2H Staff = +1D to Block 1 Attack per Round (Shield = 0 DMG if ‘sundered’ at player discretion; 2H Staff, or blocking with anything other than a Melee Weapon = Improvised Item Check).
• Resist mental Attacks = Mind Check.
