An updated version of this title is now available.

Version 2.0 includes all updates since Version 1.5

  • ACTIVATION: Standard Artefact, or Scroll, requires Standard MIND Check to use
  • CHARGES (uses): like Scrolls, charges are expended only if casting is Successful (this is actually an important clarification, as from reading the Core Rules, some GMs have interpretated that 'use' of Scrolls and Artefacts includes 'attempts', and hence a failed attempt to cast would still 'use' up the Scroll, or cost a Charge. This is not necessarily incorrect, but my intention was 'use' to mean 'it works')
  • DAMAGE: Artefacts can be damaged (and destroyed) like any other Item. Roll 1D per DMG sustained = if equal or under, the Item is destroyed and its power lost forever!
  • GENERAL: reviewed Functions to tighten and improve descriptions
  • REACTION: references to Action include Reaction (eg if Defending), whichever occurs first
  • ROUNDS: updated all Spells to include Rounds (R), where applicable
  • TOUCH or RANGED: additional roll to determine whether the Artefact is Touch or Ranged
